Exopen and GoClimate partnership – sustainability data in business steering

Together with GoClimate, Exopen is launching a new integrated solution that makes sustainability data a natural part of business steering. Through the partnership, companies can work data-driven with both business data and emissions data – in the same platform.

For Exopen, which has long focused on data-driven business steering and reporting, the launch is a natural step as the requirements for emissions reporting and sustainability data increase.

"Emissions reporting is a very important area for our customers – really for all Swedish companies. At the same time, it requires deep expertise for the calculations to be accurate and credible. That's why we are launching this together with GoClimate, who have the expertise, methodology and technology required", says Mari Källström, Chief Analytics Officer at Exopen.

Business data and emissions data – together in the Exopen platform

Through the joint launch, GoClimate's emissions data is integrated directly into the Exopen platform. This makes it possible for companies to combine their existing business data for data-driven business steering with reliable climate data in a structured and easily accessible way.

"By connecting sustainability factors together with GoClimate, companies get a whole new decision basis for steering, follow-up and development. Sustainability data is no longer a separate system or an isolated report, but an integrated part of the data-driven business steering that Exopen and GoClimate now offer together."

    A joint solution

Many companies experience sustainability reporting as complex and resource-intensive. Exopen and GoClimate share the view that this must become easier – and more business-relevant.

"Our shared ambition is that sustainability reporting shouldn't just be experienced as a requirement. When it is integrated into business steering, it can instead contribute concrete business value. That's exactly the connection we enable through this launch", Mari continues.

Sustainability data – a natural part of future business decisions

Together with GoClimate, Exopen sees that access to reliable sustainability data is already today a prerequisite in many business relationships – and that the importance will only grow.

"In both the short and medium term, this is often a requirement to maintain customer relationships. At the same time, companies that are one step ahead can use sustainability data as a clear competitive advantage. In the long run, sustainability data will be as obvious as financial KPIs, as the effects of climate change become increasingly tangible."

    A joint step in Exopen's long-term strategy

The launch together with GoClimate is part of Exopen's strategy to be the platform where companies collect, analyse and report all business-critical data. All in one and the same platform.

"The amount of data companies handle is increasing exponentially and it has never been more important to handle data in a structured way to drive your business and make the right decisions. Sustainability data is yet another important data source that now, together with GoClimate, becomes a natural part of the whole. Combined with the possibilities AI creates, we see very large future opportunities."
