All 65 workshops run on Exopen

Founded in 1976, Däckia AB is one of Sweden's leading tyre service chains, headquartered in Täby outside Stockholm. The company runs around 65 company-owned workshops and around 50 franchise workshops across the country.

Däckia needed a system that reduces human error and minimises the time spent on financial processes.

Däckia has been using Exopen's solutions since 2008. The entire financial follow-up, analysis and steering rests on Exopen. It has quality-assured the work so the human factor doesn't cause errors, and minimised the time spent on financial processes. The company also uses Navision as an ERP – but not as a report generator. Navision gathers the information and Exopen presents it.

Every workshop manager has their own P&L responsibility – the workshops are like a company within the company.

With Exopen, Däckia can give the entire organisation easy, time-efficient access to the information that's relevant to them. Däckia has a large number of Exopen reports, but the workshops mainly use four:

• Customer flow over time
• Performance across the year and between seasons
• Tyre sales
• Tyre-hotel storage volumes per workshop

Closing and budget processes are also built on Exopen reports. This enables a transparent and efficient budget process where energy goes to what matters – without wasting time on managing Excel versions or manual parameters. Däckia also tracks supplier and customer agreements in the tool.
