Nybo – AB Nykvarnsbostäder – is a public-utility housing company that owns, develops and manages properties in the Nykvarn municipality. The company has around 560 apartments in its portfolio and also manages other municipal properties and premises in Nykvarn Centrum. The organisation spans several departments – housing, central administration, commercial premises, cleaning, streets, parks and water, as well as culture and leisure.
Challenge
Nybo's accounting is split between departments that previously booked entries in different ways – getting an overall view was anything but simple. They needed a solution that could give a better overview of the entire business.

Result
The new way of working is a major step up from copying, pasting and entering numbers down to the level of each individual apartment in Excel. The most important thing, Susanne notes, is that follow-up with the municipality runs smoothly – along with monitoring the company's own costs and being able to analyse quickly.
The leadership team receives the overall report for the company. The board and each department head also get a tailored report every month.
